Barnett Outdoors is the original pioneer of the modern-day crossbow. They started small in 1962 when a man named Bernard Barnett pursued a hobby working with crossbows from his garage in the UK, filling orders for friends who were impressed by his handiwork. What an honor it is to celebrate 20 years of Shoot for a Cure with the event that started it all! We had the best time, as always, at Quail Point in Zamora, CA on October 6th as we held our 20th annual NORCAL shoot.

DIY Oregon Backcountry Success!

/

Congrats to 13 year old Braedon Motland on harvesting this beautiful buck! Bradeon spent 6 days in the field with his Dad before successfully taking down this buck (his first deer) from 24o yards.

He was excited to use his Shoot for a Cure Silver Stag Knife to process the deer, and it performed flawlessly throughout the entire process. To be able to use only one knife to fully process the deer (boned out) before making the multi-mile trek back to the truck was extremely helpful.

We’re so happy that Braedon and his Dad Brian got to share this experience, and thanks to Brad Smith at Silver Stag Knives for providing excellent tools! Check out their knives here!
