EVENT UPDATES

After the first two events, Las Vegas (PSW) and Atlanta (SE), we are off to a roaring start! With $32,000 raised in Vegas and $12,000 in Atlanta, we will be heading into PA and NY this month. We are looking forward to having Renee Dupuis (our favorite NASCAR driver) as our guest in NY. This will be Renee's first time at sporting clays. BTW - I will post some photos from the first 4 events right here next month for your viewing pleasure. As for Hawaii, the invitations will be going out this month and we are expecting a sell-out in November on Lanai! As always, if anyone would like invitations to any of the events, please click on the "contact us" link to the left, send me your request and I will get you squared away.

See you next time!!! - Mark

NEW SPONSORS FOR 2010

2010 has brought us solid re-commitments from our current sponsors as well as some great new sponsors for our program. Please check out our "Patron/Corporate Links" page for links and more info.

First up is American Income Life - our "Founding Sponsor"; AIL has re-committed this year with a strong monetary donation to our program. We want to recognize AIL CEO Roger Smith for his continuing support in our fight to knock out Leukemia and MS. Thanks Roger!

This year has also brought us three more Labor Unions to the sponsorship ranks: the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, LIUNA Local 79 and IUPAT District Council 16. We will be assisting the Boilermakers in Oct. with their 2nd Annual MIDWEST Shoot, for the benefit of the Union Sportsmen's Alliance. We will see LIUNA Local 79 (as always) at our NE Shoot In PA where BM John Delgado is our co-chair for this year. We will also be co-hosting the 2nd Annual B.A.'s Club Fun Shoot in CA for the guys at DC 16. These 3 year sponsorships enabled us to run a full schedule of events this year. Thank you Brothers and Sisters!

Next up is Goldberg, Weisman and Cairo Law Firm from Chicago. Lou Cairo is a great outdoorsman, great father and one helluva nice guy! He has attended our MIDWAY Shoot for the past 2 years and has even interviewed me about SFAC for a spot on an outdoor TV show (when I get more details-I'll let you know). If you check the "Photos" page, you'll see some pics of Lou and his team winning trophies at the '08 event. Look for Lou at the MIDWAY Shoot this July.

Next we have Union Insurance Group (UIG). Based in Chicago, UIG is the #1 provider of property, auto and Union liability coverage for Labor organizations. Members of Boilermakers Local 1, UIG is a 100% Union shop. CEO Chris Decaigny has not only committed UIG to the sponsorship, but he is also putting two Shoot For A Cure logos on the UIG NASCAR race car!!! Driven by Renee Dupuis, the only female driver in NASCAR to ever earn front row starting positions and top ten finishes, the #90 car will be competing in the Whelen Modified Tour for the 2010 season. We will keep you updated on Renee's progress throughout the year. For more info, please click here. AWESOME!!!

Finally, we just added some new Corporate Sponsors as well. Remington, Zoli, Randolph Engineering, Laporte, Silver Stag Knives, Brownells and Gemini Sport Marketing are all on board for 2010. Look for new firearms to shoot, new raffle items to win and new shooting apparel to try! Please check out our "Patron/Corporate Links" page for links and more info.

See you next time!!! - Mark
